Compressor technology, filling systems - Basic
Target group
Participants from the breathing air, fire department, diving and industrial sectors. Graduates of the operator seminar and people who already have some experience of working with high-pressure compressors and who would like to expand their knowledge of troubleshooting and fault rectification. Among other things, this seminar is a prerequisite for obtaining the qualification of a "Qualified Person according to §32 of the Industrial Safety Ordinance" and the diving instructor examination.
Contents
- Practical work directly on the compressor with an introduction to the basic functions of a high-pressure compressor
- How to set up a system correctly, explanation of the installation regulations to be observed
- Important technical rules, standards and safety regulations
- How to avoid accidents
- Recognize functional defects in a previously prepared system and rectify them by disassembly/assembly
- Which consumables and spare parts do I need to order for the system and the peripherals concerned, how do I use them and which do I keep in stock?
- Introduction to the controls and electrical assemblies
- Air treatment systems, breathing air analysis according to DIN/EN 12021:2014
- Explanation of different air quality monitoring systems
- System installation, proper compressor room, planning aid
- Discussion of specific customer problems
Benefit
Thanks to the extended qualification, the participant is able to define and operate the various compressor controls, localize and usually rectify mechanical and electrical faults and carry out a breathing air analysis.
Notes
Please do not forget appropriate protective clothing!
If you register in advance, you are welcome to bring your own portable compressor up to a maximum of 260 l/min, which can then be inspected and repaired during the seminar.
